Cool Ways To Prevent And Treat Hair Loss

Post Type

Hello my dears! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Let me give you a little backstory: I have been bleaching my hair for about a year, and I realized that I started losing hair. And girl, when I say losing hair, I mean LOTS OF HAIR!!!  My hair felt thinner and I started to panic!! I have tried different solutions, but got NO RESULTS.

Now I’m FREAKED OUT!!!

I have very long and very fine hair, which means, I need to maintain it very good. I recently moved to a much drier climate and my hair started to suffer terribly as well. It was breaking, straw-like, and overall very damaged. Oh GOD HELP ME!

However, I didn’t give up and I did my little research. That’s when I ran across this wonderful product. Pura D’or sent me their Pro organic shampoo and conditioner to try. And I am very pleased with the results!

Ok, so let me start by saying: I absolutely LOVE this shampoo, this “Pura D’or Shampoo” honestly has been a Godsend. YES. It has help me out tremendously! I definitely would recommend this to everyone, no matter the type of hair.

I started using this hair loss shampoo about five months and a half ago and I can certainly say it’s THE BEST EVER! I could definitely see less hair in my bath, and more thicker than before.

I have noticed a very BIG difference, not right away of course. But like anything else you need to give it some time to see the progress. My hair looks much more voluminous, thicker and I even see new hair growing… YAY!

I love this set of “Pura D’or Shampoo” and “Pura D’or Conditioner”, they make my hair really soft and shiny. The shampoo doesn’t smell that “great” but the conditioner smells “wonderful”. I mean, who cares about the smell, what I really care about is not going BALD!!!

The product is organic, which I LOVE, and thank GOD I found my new hair care products.

Why The Heck Is My Hair Falling Out?

Hair loss affects both men and women, and it can be caused by many reasons. It could be hereditary, malnutrition, emotional stress, hormonal imbalances, illness, tension, insufficient scalp circulation, over styling, pregnancy and other health problems. Ladies, be aware that we loose at least 50 to 100 strands of hair at day, washing our hair, styling, brushing or combing. However, do NOT avoid washing in an attempt to keep the hair, It will definitely fall out anyway.

Massage your scalp

Like your body gets tired, your scalp gets tired too. Healthy hair means a healthy scalp, and your scalp is part of your skin. Massaging the scalp every day will decrease hair loss, also stimulates the scalp and can promote healthy hair growth. You can massage your scalp 3 times daily. In the morning when you wake up, midday at work and at night before you go to sleep.

Massage your scalp using the pads of your fingers, for best results start by massaging around your temples. Massage should be deep and slow, and should physically move the scalp in order to stimulate blood flow. Use oil to massage your scalp and leave it for around 30 minutes, then wash your hair and VOILA! You are ready to Rock and Roll…

What Vitamins Are Good For Hair loss?

Yeees. It is very important to increase consumption of iron. Here are some vitamins that are particularly important to healthy hair.

Vitamin A: Helps to keep hair moist.

Vitamin B: There are four types of B vitamins that we need in order to have healthy hair. Biotin, vitamin B6 and inositol, para amino benzoic acid.

Vitamin C: Is known to be important to skin health. It is responsible for the formation of collagen

Vitamin D: Deficiency causes hair loss through a disruption of the hair growth circle.

Vitamin E: Increases blood circulation, especially near the scalp

What About Hair Loss Diet?

Poor nutrition is another cause of hair loss. Our hair is made up of keratine, and keratine is nothing but proteins. Therefore, including lots of protein in our diet in addition to other nutrients may help you get back the lost luster in your hair.

So lets pick foods in our diet that help hair growth, and further helps us achieve and maintain gorgeous and lustrous hair.

Remember that a great hair care regimen and diet can prevent hair loss and promote longer hair in combination with the proper vitamins.

Here is a GREAT diet that I’m using and that I HIGHLY recommend. Lean proteins support strong muscles, healthy bones and optimal immune function. Protein also makes you feel satisfied between meals.

Can Exercise Prevent Hair Loss?

Exercising can keep your body and hair healthy. It’s also a great way to combat hair loss because it boosts general health as well as circulation.

Any form of exercise can be great.

You can start by working out, jogging, yoga or swimming for five days a week and about 45 minutes to one hour is enough. And of course, I recommend you the BEST workout program from home to hit the market, and have worked for me tremendously.

Tips For Healthy Hair

You should NOT be washing your hair more than 2 to 3 times per week. Preferably once a week is enough. When you shampoo and condition your hair every day, it strips away your hair’s natural oils.  You can try to oil your hair with natural oils like Pura D’or moroccan argan oil, coconut, olive, almond or castor oil.

Hair Styling Tip

Let’s face it girls: We take pride on our hair. We wash it, we color it, we style it, we cut it, we wear it up, we wear it down to the side and WHATEVER!

Do you realize how much damage you are causing to your hair by doing all that stuff? and by using all these artificial heat exposures? I mean, I’m not saying don’t ever do it, but try to minimize treating your hair with chemical products and exposing them to heat treatments!

All that heat steals all the natural moisture from your hair leaving our hair as dry as grass. Avoid too-tight pony tails, apply a product before you blow out your hair, use a wide-toothed comb, avoid combing your hair when is wet.

How to Properly Apply The Hair Loss Shampoo

The product itself recommends to apply to wet hair. After wetting your hair, rub the product between your hands massaging and focusing on your scalp, leave the product for at least 2 minutes to allow for deep penetration and full absorption of the vitamins and nutrients. You can repeat the process once more for a complete wash. After washing your hair, let it air dry completely. For better results use it for 3 to 4 months. Continue use thereafter.
